Many areas of specialization are open to individuals trained in drafting. A drafter must possess strong math and measurement skills and the ability to visualize multi-dimensional objects or plans. Computer-aided drafting has freed the drafter from much time-consuming hand work. CRTI's drafting program trains students on the latest CAD software. Persons trained in drafting find jobs with architectural firms, building contractors, specialty design firms and other industries. We maintain contact with local employers, the Arkansas Workforce Center, our local advisory committee, and other community agencies to help you with your search for employment.
